Pest Control in Leon, Iowa
Leon sits in Decatur County near Nine Eagles and the Missouri line, in some of the most heavily timbered and pastured country in Iowa. Wildlife and rodent pressure off that timber is heavier here than in row-crop counties, and it shows up in houses, cabins, and outbuildings every fall.

A short history of Leon
Leon was founded in 1853 as the seat of Decatur County, originally named Independence before adopting Leon in 1858.
The county's heavy timber and rolling pasture kept it in livestock rather than row crop, and nearby Nine Eagles State Park and Slip Bluff County Park preserve some of the largest tracts of native hardwood forest in southern Iowa.

Why Leon homeowners choose Pest Control Techs
Timber country needs exclusion work and repeat inspection, not a one-and-done spray. We do the sealing that keeps wildlife and rodents outside through the winter.
