Pest Control in Knoxville, Iowa
On race night the dirt track at the Marion County Fairgrounds pulls in fans from across the country, and on any other night Knoxville is a quieter town anchored by the VA Central Iowa Health Care System and a stretch of Lake Red Rock cabin country to the east. Serving a town with this many veterans, as a veteran-owned company, means something to us — this is one of the stops we look forward to most.

A short history of Knoxville
Knoxville was platted in 1845 and named for Henry Knox, the Revolutionary War general and first U.S. Secretary of War. Coal mining drove the local economy through the late 1800s, and the rail lines that came in to haul coal also carried the first race-day crowds to what became the Knoxville Raceway in 1914.
The Marion County Fairgrounds half-mile dirt oval is now considered the unofficial 'Sprint Car Capital of the World.' The annual Knoxville Nationals, held since 1961, is the most prestigious sprint car race on the planet, and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum sits right next to the track.
Knoxville is also home to the VA Central Iowa Health Care System, established in 1924 on a 154-acre campus, which has tied the city's identity to the U.S. military and veteran community for more than 100 years.

Common Knoxville pest problems
A recurring call from Lake Red Rock-area cabins and lake homes: mosquitoes and ticks spill well past the lakeshore into Knoxville proper during wet summers, and yard barrier treatments are essential for anyone entertaining outdoors near the water.
In-town homes, especially older ones with stone foundations and mature landscaping, see the classic fall mouse pattern that most southern-Iowa county-seat towns share.
Cockroach and bed bug treatment is available year-round for Knoxville homes and rentals, with discreet scheduling.
Basements and garages across town deal with spiders essentially year-round; quarterly treatment knocks the population down for good rather than just for a few weeks.
